Being a beautiful coastal city with long history, Shandong Penglai is well known as “Fairyland in the World” which is the most suitable place for human residence and has become a resort of tour, entertainment and holiday spending.
  The touring area is located at the coast of the Yellow Sea, north of Penglai, being 56km far from Yantai, facing the Danya Mountain and islands of Changshan Hill across the sea. It has touring area of 55,000m2 and 40 main scenic spots, being a bright pearl along the Jiaodong Peninsula golden tourist route. 
  With three sides circled by the sea, the area is lying on the sea like a gourd. Feature spots strew at random and the surrounding sea area is commodious with magnificent view. At the turn from spring to summer, mirage often appears and the wonderful view is illusory and too beautiful to be absorbed all at once.
  For hundreds of years, with the beautiful legend of eight immortals across the sea, wonder of mirage, the beautiful natural scenery and the magical tale of seeking for panacea left by Emperor Qinshihuang, Emperor Wu in Han Dynasty and Emperor Taizong in Tang Dynasty, it has become an excellent place for people to pray for blessings and tour.
